Salary: $115,000–$145,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop supply chain best practices, sourcing strategies, and scalability plans for vehicle components and bills of materials.
• Lead supplier selection, relationship management, contract negotiations, and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Manage purchasing, purchase orders, direct and indirect materials, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate ERP inventory and asset records in collaboration with Finance and Accounting.
• Partner with engineering and design teams on manufacturability, cost, lead-time, and design review improvements.
• Lead and mentor purchasing and supply chain employees while driving cost reduction, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• 7+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and using ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to undergo a driving record check.
• Ability to interpret engineering documents, including CAD drawings and wiring diagrams, and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

Nice to have

• Experience with 8D, CAPA, Six Sigma, PPAP, or APQP.
• Master’s degree in engineering, business, operations, or supply chain management.
• Experience with autonomous and electric vehicle systems.
