Senior IT Systems Administration

TL;DR

Senior IT Systems Administrator (System Engineering): Administering and supporting the corporate IT environment, including identity and access management and network infrastructure with an accent on security controls and regulatory compliance. Focus on implementing scalable IT solutions, managing SOC 2/ISO 27001 readiness, and delivering high-touch technical support for a distributed organization.

Location: On-site in Seattle, WA (5 days per week)

Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, managing user access, SSO, MFA, and device configurations.
• Manage the full employee technology lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, hardware deployment, and asset management.
• Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, switches, wireless access points, DNS, and DHCP.
• Own IT responsibilities for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance, managing technical controls and audit evidence.
• Provide high-touch technical support to resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Lead infrastructure, endpoint, and security improvement projects from planning through implementation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA and work on-site 5 days per week
• 5+ years of experience administering corporate IT environments (IAM, endpoint management, networking).
• Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Strong proficiency in Windows environments and practical experience supporting macOS.
• Deep knowledge of network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs).
• Practical experience supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance programs.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, ISC2, or ISACA.
• Familiarity with GDPR and other data-protection requirements.
• Experience applying ITIL practices in an internal IT environment.
