Deputy Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Deputy Program Manager (Cybersecurity): Supporting the delivery of multi-agency 24x7x365 cybersecurity event monitoring and cyber threat analysis operations with an accent on personnel management, program governance, risk management, and technical planning. Focus on building integrated master schedules, managing contract performance and financial reporting, briefing senior Government leadership, and expanding cyber defense capabilities across the Intelligence Community.

Location: 100% onsite in Reston, Virginia, United States.

What you will do

• Support the Program Manager in managing personnel, processes, and daily operations for multi-agency cybersecurity monitoring and cyber threat analysis.
• Lead recruiting, staff retention, performance management, timesheet oversight, and career development activities.
• Manage program risks, schedules, backlogs, technical planning, estimating, and concurrent project delivery.
• Prepare contract financial status reports, deliverables, schedules, and quality documentation.
• Brief senior Government leaders and support operational, customer, and strategic meetings.
• Develop technical insights, innovation concepts, whitepapers, and roadmap recommendations for integrated defense of the IC Information Environment.

Requirements

• Top Secret SCI clearance and eligibility for a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and PMP certification.
• 8+ years of experience in management, project management, or customer-facing leadership supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense agencies.
• Experience briefing senior Government leadership and supervising employees, including recruiting, performance reviews, retention, and promotions.
• Experience with Government contract financial reporting, deliverables, performance standards, and concurrent project delivery.
• Experience with technical project planning, estimating, scheduling, and timesheet review and approval.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree with 10 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT II certification; CompTIA CySA+ preferred, with Security+ or equivalent accepted.
• Experience supporting IC, DoD, or similar cyber missions.
• Established relationships or reputation with DIA and ODNI.
• Experience with Government contract deliverables and CPARS.
