What you will do

  • Manage all in-house maintenance, rework, upgrade, and overhaul (MRO) activities, optimizing layout for safety and throughput.
  • Own the Device History Record (DHR) platform and process to maintain comprehensive digital histories for the robot fleet.
  • Lead demand forecasting and technical planning for critical service spare parts in partnership with the Supply Chain team.
  • Coordinate the "Circular Economy" workflow, refurbishing failed Field Replaceable Units (FRUs) for return to inventory.
  • Build and maintain a technical skills matrix and career architecture for the In-House Repair team.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Product Serviceability Engineers to provide operational feedback for product improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical service operations, manufacturing leadership, or MRO in high-complexity hardware environments.
  • Proven track record of managing technical teams and running physical repair or manufacturing floors.
  • Experience in service-level demand forecasting and inventory management workflows.
  • Deep familiarity with DHR/eDHR systems and strict documentation compliance.
  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in London, UK.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling operations in a startup environment, specifically transitioning from prototypes to mass production.
  • Hands-on familiarity with mechatronic systems, high-DOF actuators, and complex electromechanical assemblies.
