Tech Lead Engineer - Device Agent (C#/.NET)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel (Full-time, onsite)

What you will do

• Drive the technical strategy for the cross-platform endpoint agent, focusing on C#/.NET core logic.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a distributed team of engineers to elevate engineering practices.
• Architect the agent using C# and platform-specific extensions for performant integration with macOS, Windows, and Linux security frameworks.
• Own features from discovery to delivery, solving complex domain problems across enterprise device fleets.
• Champion and establish guardrails for AI-assisted engineering to accelerate delivery while maintaining production-grade output.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high security, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale device agent software.
• Deep expertise in endpoint agent development (EDR/XDR), OS internals, and security distribution (MDM, code signing, notarization).
• High proficiency in C# and the .NET runtime, including P/Invoke interop.
• Experience with platform-specific facilities such as eBPF (Linux) or WFP, minifilters, and kernel drivers (Windows).
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives end-to-end and mentor technical teams.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude) with a strong habit of verifying AI-generated code.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in native systems languages such as Swift or C/C++.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, shell scripting, or Python.
• Experience working on large-scale cloud-based services.
