Senior Software Engineer (AI/Fintech)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; hybrid model with 3 days in the North Tel Aviv office and 2 days working from home

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, high-performance microservices for high-volume financial production workflows.
• Own systems managing account balances, internal funds transfers, and bank reconciliation.
• Lead technical design discussions and influence architecture for future scale.
• Develop event-driven .NET services with strong correctness, idempotency, auditability, observability, and reliability.
• Apply spec-driven development, SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit and integration testing.
• Mentor engineers and use AI tools across software design, coding, testing, and review.

Requirements

• Senior-level backend engineering experience with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with relational and document databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience building event-driven microservices with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, automated testing, and scalable system architecture.
• Active, hands-on use of AI coding tools and AI-driven development workflows.
• BSc in computer science or equivalent, strong communication skills, ownership, and collaborative working style.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Redis.
• Frontend experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript.
