Senior Information Security Engineer

Location: Jerusalem, Israel; hybrid workplace with on-site presence at the Jerusalem campus 3–4 days per week during the first three months. After the initial period, some work from central Israel sites may be possible.

hirify.global develops automotive technology and operates an Information Security team protecting systems and access in Israel and abroad.

What you will do

• Manage firewalls, NAC, proxy systems, mail gateways, VPN infrastructure, and related security systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot security devices, infrastructure, and systems.
• Plan, research, and deploy security policies.
• Optimize existing security solutions and implement new ones.
• Provide L2 information security support.
• Collaborate with departments across the company, the Information Technology department, and the CISO’s team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with relevant security and cybersecurity systems in large and dynamic environments.
• Experience configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing firewall systems and network security policies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to learn new content areas quickly.
• Strong teamwork and knowledge-sharing skills.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Systems is advantageous.
