Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale backend software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, high-quality code for a resilient content discovery platform serving millions of users.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and BI teams.
• Research and implement emerging technologies and development best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building server-side enterprise systems, preferably with Node.js.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aerospike, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Understanding of stream processing and event sourcing paradigms.
• Experience designing and implementing highly scalable, distributed web applications.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Professional English proficiency is required for frequent communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Airflow, Temporal, or other workflow orchestration tools for complex data pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Pulumi or Terraform.
• Deep Node.js knowledge or previous ad-tech experience.
• Experience with AI agents and agentic coding concepts.
