IT Field Engineer (System Engineering)

What you will do

• Perform Business Transformation Assessments (BTA) and document IT assets onsite.
• Implement and troubleshoot core networking, server (Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMWare), and computer technologies.
• Configure Active Directory, Group Policy, and cloud services such as Office 365, Azure, and G-Suite.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and TOC to resolve user computing issues and execute maintenance plans.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and line-of-business application providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of onsite labor and network status in the ticketing system.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT field services.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
• Proficiency in Windows Server (2012-2025), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of networking technologies, firewalls, and switches (Cisco Meraki, HP).
• Experience with RMM tools (N-Able, Kaseya, or LabTech) and backup solutions.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Nice to have

• MSP experience.
• ITIL and Service Management knowledge.
• Experience with the HaloPSA Platform.
• Certifications: CompTIA Network+, A+, Security+, ITF+ or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
