TL;DR

What you will do

• Design and develop core platforms and services for intelligent networking, agentic AI, distributed data processing, real-time analytics, and automation.
• Build scalable, secure, observable, and reliable systems that process high-volume, high-velocity network and operational data.
• Develop event-driven microservices and cloud-native services supporting AI-powered networking experiences.
• Build generative AI and agentic capabilities including tool use, planning, memory, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and production deployment.
• Translate ambiguous technical problems into pragmatic, production-ready solutions and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development lifecycle experience and 5+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, Go, C++, or another general-purpose language.
• 3+ years of experience designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
• Experience designing systems for scalability, availability, low latency, and operational reliability, plus experience mentoring engineers or serving as a technical lead.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship and transfer are unavailable.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, MapReduce, or comparable distributed data technologies.
• Experience with networking, network management, observability, telemetry, cloud infrastructure, or distributed control-plane systems.
• Experience working with large-scale real-world datasets and converting data into actionable insights or automated outcomes.
