Salary: $160,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Design and implement AI SDK features across multiple languages, primarily Python and TypeScript.
• Develop AI application techniques and architectures, serving as a domain expert on AI design patterns.
• Take end-to-end ownership of new features to ensure exceptional reliability and developer experience.
• Collaborate with the developer community to debug issues and refine SDK features and APIs.
• Write public technical documentation for Temporal concepts and APIs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional work experience with a passion for generative AI, agents, and coding.
• Fluency in multiple programming languages and experience with concurrent programming (mutexes, atomics).
• Track record of open source software contributions to 3rd party libraries.
• Experience designing APIs and writing documentation for public libraries.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Strong technical communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Background in machine learning, model training, data science, or ML systems.
• Experience with the architecture and design of large-scale distributed systems.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science.
• Familiarity with Temporal’s programming model.
