What you will do

• Architect and deploy production AI systems integrating LLMs, retrieval, and memory into complex enterprise workflows.
• Develop agent runtimes, orchestration frameworks, and tool integrations to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Operationalize AI quality systems using evaluation harnesses, benchmarks, and LLM-as-a-Judge to detect regressions.
• Partner with strategic enterprise customers to translate ambiguous technical problems into scalable AI architectures.
• Lead technical architecture discussions and document reusable deployment patterns and operational best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in distributed systems and system design.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience building production software.
• Experience building AI-powered applications using LLM APIs, agent frameworks, retrieval systems, or vector databases.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern production infrastructure.
• Must be located in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
• Excellent communication skills for direct collaboration with enterprise engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying production AI agents or autonomous systems.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with LLM observability, tracing, and implementing safety guardrails.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and technical workshops for enterprise clients.
