What you will do

• Design and build agentic AI/ML solutions to optimize and automate big data processing workflows.
• Research state-of-the-art techniques and create science plans for new features.
• Benchmark science implementations and partner with engineering to launch them in production.
• Publish and present scientific work at top-tier venues and internal forums.
• Mentor applied science interns and peers.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• 5+ years of research experience applying agentic AI/ML techniques to systems problems (programming languages, databases, or distributed systems).
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
• Proven track record of patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences/journals.
• Must be based in or able to work from Santa Clara, CA, USA.
