What you will do

• Assess the creditworthiness of merchants and buyers using structured credit risk methodologies.
• Query and analyze large datasets with SQL and Python or R to identify borrower behavior and macroeconomic trends.
• Drive strategic credit decisioning for high-value transactions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to refine underwriting policies and scorecards.
• Optimize payment product performance by balancing conversion and financial risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
• At least one year of internship or professional experience in credit analysis or financial analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with business intelligence tools, ideally Metabase.
• Strong understanding of factoring, credit risk, or similar functions.
• Analytical, inquisitive, resilient, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in banking or finance.
• Familiarity with company financial statements.
