What you will do

• Represent the firm in complex debt restructurings involving creditors, sponsors, management teams, and external advisors.
• Conduct in-depth credit analysis of industry fundamentals and cashflows to recommend workout strategies.
• Identify and escalate early warning signs of credit weakness to senior leadership to mitigate downside risks.
• Monitor the performance of counterparties in the distressed Watch List portfolio, ensuring adherence to covenants.
• Interact with regulators and external auditors regarding provisioning levels and workout strategies.
• Mentor junior team members and manage relationships across Investment Banking, Legal, and Compliance departments.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience managing complex debt restructurings across various jurisdictions in EMEA/APAC.
• Advanced skills in corporate finance, restructuring, and financial accounting.
• Strong expertise in assessing legal documentation, including waivers, amendments, and restructuring agreements.
• Proven track record of independent decision-making and collaborative teamwork.
• Ability to lead diverse deal teams and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• Master’s degree in finance, engineering, economics, or other quantitative subjects.
