What you will do

• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including business email compromise and ransomware.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex alerts and investigations within the SOC.
• Lead complex investigations and guide clients through remediation activities and security incidents.
• Support MDR operations and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Develop and refine internal playbooks, documentation, and automation tooling.
• Collaborate with internal Security Operations, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SOC, MDR, Incident Response, DFIR, CSIRT, or CERT environments.
• Ability to investigate and respond to security incidents independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows, EDR solutions, and SIEM platforms.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Residence in the Netherlands.
• Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience investigating Business Email Compromise (BEC) incidents.
• Expertise in digital forensics, threat hunting, or threat intelligence.
• Experience creating operational procedures and playbooks.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts.
