Security Engineer (Product Security)

What you will do

• Lead threat modeling and security reviews across products and cloud infrastructure to identify attack surfaces and develop mitigation strategies.
• Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to enable development teams to integrate end-to-end security into their workflows.
• Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts, prioritizing issues and designing preventative controls in software supply chains.
• Extend detection and response capabilities to identify malicious activity, triage alerts, and remediate incidents.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations within cloud environments.
• Strong AWS cloud security experience (or equivalent experience in Azure and GCP).
• Experience with cloud-native Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS) and container security principles.
• Deep understanding of securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
• Proven ability to lead technical security reviews, conduct threat modeling, and apply web application security concepts (OWASP Top-10).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi) and automation in Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams.
• Experience in organizations developing software or managed infrastructure for external customers.
• Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
