TL;DR

Junior Cyber Security Consultant (Cybersecurity): Supporting customer onboarding, security reviews, and cyber-security advisory services with an accent on EDR, cloud monitoring, network security, and customer communication. Focus on guiding organisations through security improvements, solving second-line technical challenges, and coordinating with product, engineering, security operations, and threat intelligence specialists.

Location: Hybrid work in Berlin, Germany, or The Hague, Netherlands, with regular on-site Thursday socials and company meetups.

What you will do

• Guide new customers through onboarding and help implement EDR, cloud monitoring, and other security controls.
• Assess customer security questions and determine how available resources can address their needs.
• Deliver periodic security reviews and provide tailored advice on security priorities.
• Support second-line technical challenges alongside first-line support and cybersecurity specialists.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Engineering, Security Operations, and Threat Intelligence teams.
• Identify improvements to technical operations and customer relationships while owning defined deliverables.

Requirements

• Fluent German and English are required.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity; formal qualifications are helpful but not required.
• Basic understanding of small- to medium-sized IT networks and Active Directory.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and customer advisory skills.
• Proactive, curious, and willing to learn across different areas of security.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDR platforms such as CrowdStrike or other endpoint security tools.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts or Azure/Microsoft cloud environments.
• Security certifications such as Security+ or CEH, or active study toward one.
• Hands-on security projects, open-source contributions, labs, CTFs, or personal projects.
• Experience in technical support, customer-facing technical roles, IT networks, or systems administration.
