What you will do

• Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and repair low-voltage infrastructure and physical security systems.
• Work with cameras, card readers, control panels, biometric devices, electronic locks, power supplies, and video management systems.
• Install and configure computers, Windows operating systems, network settings, drivers, and required software.
• Assemble and install video and data communication lines, cabling, hardware, and surveillance equipment using hand and power tools.
• Evaluate installed equipment, provide QA/QC feedback, and prepare project deliverables.
• Coordinate procurement, receipt, installation, and tracking of materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Three years of relevant computer or installation experience, or an associate degree, certification, and equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of low-voltage systems, basic electrical theory, networking, OSI Layers 1 and 2, and electronic test equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Windows operating systems, including Windows 11 imaging, driver updates, and configuration.
• Ability to interpret technical plans, schematics, blueprints, wire diagrams, technical drawings, and CAD drawings.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, operate boom lifts up to 90 feet, and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to travel up to 85% of the time and work in field environments across the USA.

• Experience installing and maintaining IP cameras.
• Experience troubleshooting low-voltage physical security systems and VMS.
• A+, Network+, Security+, PSP, BICSI, or structured cabling certification.
