Salary: $29.00–$40.00 per hour, approximately $4,640–$6,400 per month based on 160 hours.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair low-voltage infrastructure, physical security systems, computers, and network equipment.
• Work with cameras, card readers, control panels, biometric devices, electronic locks, power supplies, and video management systems.
• Assemble and install cabling, video and data communication lines, hardware, and surveillance equipment using hand and power tools.
• Evaluate installed equipment and provide ongoing quality assurance and quality control feedback.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, installation, and tracking of project materials and equipment.
• Prepare project deliverables and work under the direction of senior personnel.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant computer or installation experience, or an associate degree, certification, and equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of low-voltage and basic electrical theory, including voltage, amperage, resistance, and related test equipment.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, including Windows 11, OS imaging, driver updates, hardware, software, and network configuration.
• Understanding of OSI Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking and physical security system hardware.
• Ability to interpret technical plans, schematics, blueprints, wire diagrams, and CAD drawings.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 85% of the time are required. Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders and boom lifts, use personal protective equipment, and lift up to 60 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience installing and maintaining IP cameras.
• Experience troubleshooting low-voltage physical security systems and VMS platforms.
• A+, Network+, Security+, PSP, BICSI, or structured cabling certifications.
