Location: Must live in the Portland metro area; frequent travel by car throughout the Pacific Northwest is required. A valid Oregon driver’s license, personal vehicle, and periodic overtime or weekend work may be required.
Salary: $36.49–$46.39 per hour.

What you will do
- Lead and delegate work to installation crews, subcontractors, and union trades on complex projects.
- Install displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, equipment racks, cabling, and other audiovisual systems.
- Terminate, label, test, repair, and manage copper and fiber-optic cabling.
- Build and wire custom panels and prepare equipment racks from engineering drawings.
- Interpret functional design drawings and cable riser diagrams while coordinating with project managers, superintendents, clients, and contractors.
- Oversee field quality, materials, tools, documentation, safety, and daily project reporting.
Requirements
- Five or more years of installation technician or related industry experience, including at least three years as an associate or fabrication technician.
- AVIXA CTS and OSHA 30 certifications are required.
- Must live in the Portland metro area and hold a valid Oregon driver’s license.
- Experience with audiovisual and networking equipment, low-voltage electrical concepts, advanced carpentry, installation, and power tools.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems independently.
- Ability to work safely on construction sites, climb ladders, use stairs, and lift or move materials up to 40 pounds.
