TL;DR

Product Owner (Medtech): Managing the Sierra clinical product line to bridge clinical vision and engineering execution with an accent on technical translation of neurodiagnostic workflows. Focus on backlog prioritization, technical refinement of hardware/software features, and leading clinical validation with partners like Mayo Clinic.

Location: Strong preference for Kennewick, WA; remote may be considered for the right candidate. Must be able to complete a US federal background check.

Salary: $130,000 - $145,000 USD

What you will do

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to align with the roadmap and business priorities.
  • Translate clinical workflows into granular technical specifications and clear "Definitions of Done".
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including program increments, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Oversee the product's progression through release, versioning, and change-control processes.
  • Coordinate clinical validation of new features and algorithms with clinical and KOL partners (e.g., Mayo Clinic).
  • Align software requirements across the full ecosystem of hardware, consumables, and accessories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Computer) or Computer Science strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in software product development or technical systems analysis.
  • Hands-on clinical experience with hirify.global neurodiagnostic systems (EMG/NCS/EP/NMUS) or comparable equipment.
  • Ability to decompose complex clinical workflows into testable engineering specifications.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to make technical trade-off decisions.
  • Ability to complete a US federal background check for government facility access.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of hospital network architecture, HL7, DICOM, and virtualized desktop environments (Citrix Workspace).
  • Experience in a medical device or similarly regulated environment (FDA, HIPAA).
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies using Azure DevOps or Jira.
