What you will do

• Develop learned navigation systems that integrate complex spatial reasoning and semantic goals to drive real-world robot behaviors.
• Implement open-ended navigation using Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models to understand context and navigate multi-agent environments.
• Design and scale data pipelines and evaluation frameworks for training large-scale, end-to-end learned behaviors.
• Architect and deploy reliable ML systems, hardening models for execution on physical hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize large VLA models and ensure reliability standards are met.
• Evaluate new model architectures and multi-agent strategies to guide the embodied AI roadmap.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in ML for embodied AI, specifically focused on end-to-end learned behaviors using VLAs, VLMs, transformers, or diffusion.
• Deep production expertise in deploying, monitoring, and optimizing large-scale ML systems.
• Strong background in spatial reasoning, semantic goals, and multi-agent dynamics in interactive environments.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and modern tooling for training and deploying large-scale foundation models for robotics.
• Proven ability to take ambitious behavior-learning research and deploy it on physical robots.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, research-driven environment.
