What you will do

• Scale and optimize research tools and scientific workflows for production environments.
• Develop ML and physics infrastructure for model training and molecular simulation.
• Improve GPU utilization, distributed execution, throughput, and fault tolerance.
• Architect systems for job orchestration, monitoring, and workflow traceability.
• Package scientific tools into reusable APIs and services for researchers and AI agents.
• Collaborate with computational biophysics and chemistry scientists to productize research.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills in Python and experience with ML or scientific computing.
• Experience scaling distributed systems for research, physics, or data-intensive workloads.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, JAX, CUDA, or similar ML/scientific computing frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Linux, Docker, and reproducible development environments.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Slurm, Ray, Flyte, or Argo.
• Ability to translate ambiguous technical needs into robust engineering solutions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with computational chemistry, biophysics, or drug discovery workflows.
• Experience with cloud GPU infrastructure and multi-cluster execution.
• Experience building tools for LLM agents or automated research workflows.
• Knowledge of workflow observability, checkpointing, and fault-tolerant systems.
