What you will do

• Lead early-stage exploration of business problems and identify high-impact opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured problem statements, hypotheses, and analytical approaches.
• Conduct rapid analyses and build lightweight prototypes to generate directional insights and assess feasibility.
• Develop analytical frameworks for publisher performance, content investment, ecosystem health, partner engagement, and commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate with GPDR leadership, analytics partners, product managers, commerce teams, and external partners to refine priorities and communicate findings.
• Prepare validated opportunities and analytical groundwork for downstream experimentation, modeling, and AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with ambiguous business problems.
• Experience with exploratory analysis, hypothesis development, and data-driven storytelling.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and translating business needs into analytical work; willingness to use AI-enabled tools is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, forecasting, or scenario modeling.
• Familiarity with data science workflows and collaboration with modeling teams.
• Experience developing reusable analytical approaches, templates, or frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple exploratory initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
