Senior Accountant

TL;DR

What you will do

• Support month-end general ledger close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Calculate and document estimates, accruals, prepayments, reserves, and provisions in accordance with US GAAP.
• Review trial balances and financial statements for completeness and accuracy.
• Own fixed asset accounting for the company.
• Research accounting guidance and recommend appropriate accounting treatments.
• Update consolidated ledgers for overseas transactions and review international financial reports, including VAT and GST recovery support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in roles with equivalent accounting responsibilities.
• Strong general accounting background, month-end close experience, and knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work as a collaborative, self-directed professional and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience.
