Salary: $157,000 – $199,000 (Base pay for NYC)

What you will do

• Manage technical accounting and reporting workstreams, including setting operational objectives and overseeing budgets.
• Direct forensic review and reconciliation of complex historical data to ensure audit-ready foundations.
• Serve as internal authority on ASC 606, ASC 805, and DeFi yield protocols.
• Lead drafting of financial disclosures and MD&A for SEC engagements and registration statements.
• Optimize global systems by designing SOPs for offshore teams and improving NetSuite integration.

Requirements

• Experience in Big 4 Audit/Technical Desks, Accounting Advisory, or in-house leadership at a high-growth Fintech/Crypto firm.
• Direct experience with CFTC Swap Dealer, FCM, or SEC Broker-Dealer filing frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage multiple departments, workstreams, and offshore resources.
• Proficiency in Workiva and NetSuite.
• Expertise in SEC Pre-clearance, Purchase Accounting (ASC 805), and DeFi Accounting.
• Must be based in the United States.
