Head of Finance (SaaS)

Location: Must be based in or near San Francisco, CA or New York, NY (Hybrid role with office presence required).

What you will do

• Own the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-scenario revenue and headcount models.
• Manage capital allocation, unit economics, CAC, payback, and gross margin analysis.
• Oversee cash flow, runway scenarios, and financial narrative for board reporting.
• Partner with GTM, engineering, and operations leadership to drive strategic decision-making.
• Integrate ERP, expense, payroll, and CRM data into a unified reporting layer.
• Lead, coach, and grow the finance and accounting team.

Requirements

• 8+ years in finance, including FP&A experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company (Series A-C).
• Proven track record of scaling finance teams and improving forecasting rigor.
• Strong technical accounting foundation, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Ability to act as a player-coach, building models while developing team members.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or usage-based pricing models.
• Experience supporting company exits, financing rounds, or IPOs.
