What you will do

• Define and execute the Delivery Engineering strategy, roadmap, and engineering effectiveness metrics.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of Automation Engineers across software automation, testing, continuous delivery, release engineering, and developer tooling.
• Partner with game, platform, and product engineering teams to translate delivery challenges into trusted, reusable solutions.
• Develop shared platforms, automation, standards, and practices for building, testing, releasing, and operating software.
• Modernise fragmented tooling and delivery workflows, including the practical use of AI where it improves productivity.
• Drive adoption across teams and demonstrate improvements in developer experience, delivery performance, software quality, and platform usage.

Requirements

• Experience leading automation platforms, engineering frameworks, or developer tooling in a modern software engineering environment.
• Strong programming experience with C#, Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with automated testing, CI/CD platforms, and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-native environments, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, containers, and orchestration.
• Understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and microservices across complex technology stacks.
• Permanent right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship is required.
