Engineering Delivery Coordinator

Location: Portsmouth, UK; hybrid with periodic on-site collaboration

What you will do

• Maintain accurate Jira tracking for engineering initiatives, including ownership, status, timelines, priorities, dependencies, and milestones.
• Identify stale or incomplete data, delivery blockers, drifting work, and unresolved actions, escalating persistent risks to engineering leadership.
• Track and communicate team capacity, planned demand, allocation, competing priorities, and resource constraints.
• Develop initiative-level dashboards and reporting covering exceptions, trends, dependencies, delivery risk, throughput, lead time, ageing, and predictability.
• Coordinate rollouts, communications, dependencies, and milestones across Engineering, Product, and Operations.
• Improve planning processes, tracking standards, metrics, and delivery information practices.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Agile Delivery Coordination, PMO Analysis, Technical Project Coordination, or a similar role in software, technology, or SaaS.
• Proven experience using Jira to track initiatives, epics, dependencies, milestones, and delivery status.
• Experience producing delivery reporting, managing RAID-style information, and driving actions to completion.
• Experience supporting capacity, resource, or demand planning across multiple teams or concurrent initiatives.
• Practical understanding of Scrum and Kanban, with strong analytical, communication, organisational, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Strong Jira and Excel skills; the ability to coordinate across distributed teams without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps, reporting tools, or portfolio-planning tools.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder rollouts across product, platform, technology, or business change.
• Experience improving delivery information accuracy and usefulness across multiple engineering teams.
