Platform Engineer (AI): Building the foundational infrastructure, developer tooling, data systems, and connectivity layer that power agent invocations, customer onboarding, and product engineering with an accent on Kubernetes services, deployment pipelines, observability, and MCP integrations. What you will do

• Architect and optimize internal developer tooling, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, development environments, and AI-native engineering workflows.
• Build and operate Kubernetes-based service infrastructure, shared libraries, secret management, and production observability with OTEL and Datadog.
• Own schemas, storage, and access patterns for investigation traces, agent trajectories, resource graphs, customer telemetry, and typed state data.
• Develop the MCP gateway, OAuth and credential management, self-hosted MCP server lifecycle, and integration catalog.
• Partner with product, forward-deployed engineering, and research to turn customer feedback and operational data into platform and architecture decisions.
• Set reliability, security, isolation, and production-readiness standards for systems used by agents and product teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures, networking, distributed systems, and systems design.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on experience operating production services on Kubernetes.
• Strong coding and data modeling skills, with the ability to take ambiguous goals from prototype to production.
• Product-focused approach to platform engineering, with attention to adoption and developer experience.
• Comfort using AI tools extensively in daily engineering work.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP, OAuth, API gateways, or multi-tenant integration platforms.
• Experience with OTEL, distributed tracing, and SRE practices.
• Experience building internal administration or developer tools for humans and agents.
• Experience with agent or LLM systems, including context management, tool use, or sandboxing.
• Startup experience or experience taking products from zero to one.
