Platform Engineer (TypeScript, GCP)

Location: Must be based in the USA (Hybrid in San Francisco, Denver, New York, or Remote)

Salary: $115,000 – $280,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Build and maintain product infrastructure including PostgreSQL databases, GCP environments, and data platforms.
• Develop internal tooling and shared frameworks to improve developer experience and velocity.
• Construct the infrastructure for agentic AI systems, including evaluation systems, agent loops, and sandboxes.
• Plan and execute production database and cloud migrations with safe validation and rollback practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders to identify and remove platform friction.
• Drive a platform roadmap focused on quality, security, and scalability standards.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating production platform or infrastructure systems.
• Hands-on proficiency with PostgreSQL and GCP.
• Experience planning and running large-scale migrations with strong observability.
• Strong security mindset regarding access, data handling, and operational risk.
• Ability to build interfaces and product surfaces that make infrastructure usable for internal teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience building infrastructure specifically for agentic systems (evals, harnesses, sandboxes).
• Direct experience in application or infrastructure security.
• Background in building financial products where auditability and data integrity are critical.
