What you will do

• Develop processes to extract, clean, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources.
• Design and maintain robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data systems for game and publishing data.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries, schemas, metadata, and consistent data definitions.
• Monitor pipeline availability and performance, implementing automated data-quality checks, validation, and alerts.
• Write maintainable code and SQL, conduct reviews, and share data-engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in big-data technologies and languages including Python, Spark, Scala, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or dbt.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt or GCP.
• Passion for gaming and knowledge of the gaming industry.
