What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performing team dedicated to data elaboration and visualization.
• Translate R&D stakeholder needs into effective data solutions and visualization tools.
• Drive the digital transformation of R&D by contributing to and implementing the digital roadmap.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of data models and visualizations from design to deployment and optimization.
• Manage the R&D data elaboration platform, including High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions.
• Forge and manage strategic partnerships with external organizations and universities.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in data elaboration or computational modelling within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medtech industry.
• Must be based in Europe to be eligible for remote working opportunities.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of drug development processes and regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, ICH, EMEA).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and languages (Python, R, JavaScript, SQL).
• Experience with big data management, deep learning, and machine learning.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and R&D simulation/modeling techniques.
