Head of Legal & Compliance (Fintech)

Location: Remote with a hybrid work schedule; a working permit is available for non-EU candidates.

What you will do

• Lead legal and compliance matters across the company and advise senior management on business decisions and operational risks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with PSPs, banks, liquidity providers, and other commercial partners.
• Maintain Terms & Conditions, partner agreements, internal policies, and other key legal documentation.
• Assess the legal and regulatory impact of new products, marketing initiatives, and partnership models across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate external law firms and legal advisors while supporting due diligence and financial-partner relationships.
• Build the internal Legal & Compliance function, including processes, documentation standards, team structure, hiring, and development.

Requirements

• Russian-speaking professional with English required for daily business communication.
• Law degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• At least 5 years of experience in legal or compliance roles within a CFD brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of commercial agreements, corporate structuring, regulatory frameworks, and work with PSPs, banks, and financial institutions.
• Experience assessing legal and regulatory risks, working with regulators, external law firms, and commercial partners.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and own the Legal & Compliance function.
