What you will do

• Lead the preparation and presentation of GAAP-compliant balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Review bookkeeping and accounting activities for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with GAAP.
• Develop financial analysis methods to evaluate company performance, financial health, and growth prospects.
• Support strategic analysis, budgeting, forecasting, annual budget development, and long-term financial planning.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting and budgeting guidelines.
• Collaborate with external auditors and supervise a small accounting group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience, including 4 or more years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with financial software and ERP systems.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite at the Pleasanton, California office.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
