What you will do

• Implement SHEQ policies and regulatory compliance initiatives covering local, state, and federal requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits; identify hazards and non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver new-hire, refresher, and specialized safety training.
• Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain incident, training, waste-management, permit, and other SHEQ documentation while tracking KPIs.
• Manage chemical inventory and Safety Data Sheet records, support regulatory and audit communications, and promote safety engagement through recurring site meetings and information-sharing events.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in safety, preferably in a multi-location setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety-management software or tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Hamburg, New Jersey, United States.
