Location: Remote, APAC-based; extensive travel across Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia is required.

What you will do

• Own APAC business development priorities across five hub markets and adapt execution to local market and regulatory requirements.
• Build and close partnerships with fintech companies, payment platforms, wallets, exchanges, and Stellar ecosystem developers.
• Develop institutional relationships with banks, digital asset platforms, payment companies, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Coordinate with marketing, legal, integrations, product, and market development teams to move partnerships from negotiation to live integration.
• Represent SDF at regional conferences, roundtables, meetups, and owned ecosystem events.
• Maintain pipeline discipline in HubSpot and Airtable and communicate APAC market insights across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or ecosystem roles, including senior-level work in APAC markets.
• Deep relationships across APAC fintech, payments, blockchain, institutional, banking, exchange, and regulatory ecosystems.
• Experience with blockchain, digital assets, stablecoins, tokenization, cross-border payments, or Digital Public Infrastructure.
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations and navigating APAC regulatory environments.
• Fluent English and APAC residence are required; extensive regional and occasional international travel is expected.
