Senior Data Engineer (iGaming & Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable data architecture, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytical data models.
• Build batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines using APIs, Kafka, database extractions, web scraping, and email sources.
• Develop Kimball-based data models and ensure data accuracy, integrity, quality, lineage, and governance.
• Orchestrate production workflows with Apache Airflow and optimize pipeline, query, and infrastructure performance.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability with tools such as Elementary, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Maintain CI/CD, automated testing, Git-based collaboration, and infrastructure workflows in a DevOps environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Python and SQL in big data environments.
• Experience with Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and AWS, including at least 2 years with each preferred platform.
• At least 2 years of experience with data streaming platforms, preferably Kafka.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Bitbucket Pipelines or GitHub Actions, plus Git and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data lineage, monitoring, communication, and problem-solving.
