What you will do

• Architect and maintain production-grade data pipelines and models for reliable data ingestion and delivery.
• Own end-to-end pipeline reliability, including orchestration, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into technical specifications.
• Optimize SQL queries and storage/compute patterns to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Document data models, pipeline behavior, and operational runbooks to ensure maintainability.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in designing data pipelines, data models, and batch/stream processing in production environments.
• Proficiency with Python for pipeline construction and automation.
• Advanced SQL skills for data transformation and performance tuning.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience building workloads on Databricks and using dbt for analytics engineering.
• Experience with MongoDB or other document databases and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Must be based in LATAM.

Nice to have

• Experience using Snowflake for cloud data warehousing and modeling.
• Working knowledge of Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
