Regional Head of HR (Gaming)

TL;DR

Regional Head of HR (Gaming): Leading the full people function across five Southeast Asian and East Asian markets with an accent on regional HR strategy, governance, compliance, and organisational capability. Focus on designing scalable HR operations, managing multi-country payroll and employment-law requirements, improving HRIS and workforce analytics, and advising the CEO in a fast-changing environment.

Location: Hybrid in Singapore: 1 day working from home and 4 days in-office at Ubi Avenue 3. The role supports operations across Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

What you will do

• Advise the CEO and senior leaders on regional people strategy, workforce planning, organisational design, compensation, performance, and employee relations.
• Lead HR operations, talent acquisition, payroll governance, employment-law compliance, and statutory obligations across five countries.
• Build and standardise regional HR policies, SOPs, governance frameworks, and escalation processes.
• Own the HRIS roadmap, data integrity, headcount reporting, attrition analysis, and workforce analytics.
• Serve as Data Protection Officer and oversee compliance with applicable data-protection legislation, including Singapore PDPA.
• Lead and develop the regional HR team while establishing clear accountabilities and strong operating discipline.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in regional or multi-country leadership across Southeast Asia or Taiwan.
• Experience leading HR in a fast-paced, scaling SME; gaming, technology, media, or entertainment experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and HR compliance in at least one other Southeast Asian country or Taiwan.
• Singapore payroll experience is required, with hands-on oversight of multi-country payroll governance, statutory compliance, and controls.
• Proven ability to lead HR teams, advise senior stakeholders, exercise discretion, and combine strategic leadership with operational execution.
• Comfort using AI tools and emerging HR technologies to automate workflows and improve reporting and decision-making.
