Location: On-site in Singapore

Salary: US$75,000–$100,000 annual compensation

What you will do

• Monitor legislative, regulatory, enforcement, licensing, consultation, and policy developments across key APAC jurisdictions.
• Produce well-sourced briefs, memos, explainers, and regulatory intelligence for senior stakeholders.
• Research and draft consultation responses, public submissions, and regulatory position papers.
• Prepare briefing packs and follow-up materials for engagements with regulators, law enforcement, and public-sector partners.
• Build jurisdictional research dossiers and market maps covering regulatory frameworks, licensing pipelines, competitors, pricing, and prospects.
• Identify commercial and strategic opportunities created by regulatory shifts and supervisory priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law, public policy, international relations, political science, economics, finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in policy, regulatory affairs, financial regulation, consulting, a think tank, law firm, regulator, public-sector body, or compliance.
• Working knowledge of financial regulation and the digital-asset or blockchain landscape, including blockchain, AML/CFT, on-chain analytics, or virtual-asset compliance concepts.
• Prior exposure to regulators, central banks, or international organizations, together with familiarity with APAC regulatory landscapes.
• Excellent written and verbal English and professional working proficiency in an additional Asian language are required.
• Strong research, synthesis, writing, organizational, and analytical skills, including experience drafting consultation responses or regulatory submissions.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an LLM, MPP, or MPA.
• Relevant professional certification such as CAMS.
• Proficiency with AI tools for research and analysis.
