Salary: $165,000 - $225,000

What you will do

• Own legal review for all outward-facing marketing and communications materials across social, web, PR, and digital ads.
• Advise cross-functional stakeholders on campaign strategy, product messaging, and external positioning.
• Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and reputational risks related to consumer protection and privacy.
• Provide legal support for strategic business deals, including diligence, KYC, and contract negotiation.
• Manage brand and IP functions, including trademark portfolios and naming initiatives.
• Develop practical legal templates, playbooks, and workflows to streamline marketing reviews.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 3+ years of legal experience in marketing, advertising, fintech, blockchain, or digital assets.
• Working knowledge of advertising, consumer protection, privacy, and IP laws.
• Ability to assess securities, commodities, and regulatory risks in public materials.
• Strong drafting and communication skills for high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, sponsorship, and strategic partnership agreements.

Nice to have

• Experience in blockchain, crypto, or other regulated technology sectors.
• Prior in-house experience supporting product or advertising teams.
• Familiarity with smart contracts or the Stellar ecosystem.
• Active membership in the California or New York bar.
