Salary: Base $166,980 - $250,470/yr + 25% annual bonus + RSUs

What you will do

• Lead legal affairs for markets and products, advising on federal and state securities, banking, and insurance laws.
• Provide strategic advice for the implementation of Real-World Asset (RWA) digital tokens and related financial services.
• Guide the product lifecycle from conception through launch, operation, and sunset.
• Monitor and implement changes in digital asset, blockchain, and technology regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams on product lifecycle and related initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates and other ecosystem players.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience practicing as outside or in-house counsel for financial services firms (e.g., broker-dealer, investment advisor).
• Deep subject matter expertise in the Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
• Proven experience in product counseling for blockchain, crypto, and securities products.
• J.D. and active membership in at least one state bar.
• Strong negotiation skills for financial agreements, including prime brokerage and derivatives documentation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience as an examiner, attorney, or industry specialist at a regulatory agency such as the SEC or CFTC.
