AI Security Specialist

TL;DR

AI Security Specialist (Microsoft Copilot/Azure): Securing Copilot deployments and end-to-end AI services with an accent on identity and access management, threat modeling, monitoring, and operational guardrails. Focus on detecting prompt injection and data poisoning, validating integrations and encryption, and responding to complex security incidents in Microsoft environments.

Location: Remote within Portugal, with availability in Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, Braga, Viseu, Lisbon, Faro, Leiria, Madeira, or the Azores.

What you will do

• Review Microsoft Copilot deployments and identify threats including prompt injection, model tampering, and data poisoning.
• Implement Identity and Access Management, Conditional Access policies, and Zero Trust controls for Copilot workloads.
• Develop threat models, conduct controlled security tests and red-team activities, and assess custom plugins and third-party integrations.
• Build monitoring and anomaly detection capabilities and respond to Copilot-related security incidents.
• Resolve complex Copilot security, performance, and usage issues as a third-level support specialist.
• Create documentation, guardrails, escalation patterns, and targeted training for Copilot support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant security certifications that may substitute for formal education.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience and 3 years of experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure security.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Zero Trust, and threat modeling.
• Practical experience with PowerShell, Python, or C#.
• Fluency in English and working ability in Portuguese are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Applied Cryptography.
• Microsoft Security, Azure Security, CISSP, or AZ-500 certifications.
