What you will do

• Administer the Microsoft Purview platform including Information Protection, eDiscovery, and Audit.
• Design and optimize Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft 365, Teams, and Azure.
• Manage enterprise data classification, sensitivity labels, and data lifecycle controls.
• Investigate DLP incidents and tune policies to reduce false positives.
• Integrate Microsoft Purview with Microsoft Sentinel using KQL for advanced analytics and reporting.
• Support cloud security posture management and remediation aligned with CIS and NIST frameworks.

Requirements

• 6+ years in information security with 3–5 years focused on data protection and Microsoft Purview.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview, DLP, and information governance.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for automation.
• Solid knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, and NIST SP 800-53.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Office 365, Cloud).
• Experience integrating Purview with Microsoft Sentinel and KQL development.

Nice to have

• SC-400 or AZ-500 certifications.
• SC-200, SC-300, CISM, or CISSP certifications.
