What you will do

• Lead technical client engagements for Microsoft security, compliance, and data protection solutions.
• Design and deploy strategies leveraging Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender suite, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Advise clients on the secure adoption of Microsoft Copilot, focusing on data exposure risks and governance.
• Translate regulatory frameworks (ISO, government regulations) into actionable technical implementations.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping, and level-of-effort estimates.
• Develop repeatable offerings around data security, compliance, and AI governance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Western US.
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft cloud security and compliance consulting.
• Deep expertise in Purview, DLP, Records Management, Defender, and Sentinel.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Identity governance.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Proven consulting skills in requirements gathering and client communication.

Nice to have

• Relevant Microsoft certifications: SC-401, SC-400, SC-200, or SC-300.
• Experience supporting State and Local Government or highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with PIM/PAM and enterprise identity integrations.
• Strong technical writing skills for creating implementation guides.
