What you will do

• Develop evidence-based capacity building and policy dialogue on gender-responsive social protection across priority regions.
• Synthesize cross-country programmatic evidence to create policy-relevant guidance for country offices and global audiences.
• Create technical and advocacy products for care and support systems, specifically supporting the Year of Care 2028 agenda.
• Provide technical input to interagency platforms, including the Global Technical Team on Family-Friendly Policies and Care.
• Support knowledge dissemination for the Transfer Project regarding cash transfers and gender-responsive programme design.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree (Master’s) in social policy, development studies, gender studies, international development, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of expertise in gender-responsive social protection and care and support systems.
• Experience in policy analysis, global advocacy, and civil society engagement in low- and middle-income country contexts.
• Proven ability to synthesize programmatic evidence into briefs, guidance notes, and advocacy packages.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another UN language.
• Familiarity with hirify.global's work on social protection, care and support, and gender and adolescent girls.
