Funder Relations Project Officer (Biodata): Managing and developing relationships with global funding organizations to ensure the sustainability of the global biodata infrastructure with an accent on recruitment, onboarding of new funders, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on operationalizing the GBC engagement strategy and coordinating relations between policy makers, scientific resources, and the Board of Funders.

Salary: from £3,452.05 - £3,861.91 monthly (after tax)

What you will do

• Landscaping, coordinating and tracking relations with existing and potential funders.
• Developing and maintaining processes for engaging with funders.
• Creating high-quality communication materials and reports for the Board and senior leadership.
• Representing GBC at national and international conferences and workshops.
• Operationalizing the GBC engagement strategy to grow the coalition.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in funder engagement and project delivery.
• Experience in academia, life sciences, research funding, or policy roles.
• English: C1+ (very strong verbal, written, and presentation skills).
• Proven ability to work within a hybrid, geographically-distributed team.
• Experience working across different geographies with cultural sensitivity.

• Higher degree in life or biomedical sciences.
• Additional language skills beyond English.
