Finance Business Partner (DACH)

Location: Hybrid in Budapest, Hungary (3 days office, 2 days wherever)

What you will do

• Hold end-to-end P&L responsibility for customer contracts, providing commercial and strategic support.
• Conduct detailed variance and trend analyses to identify growth potential and operational improvements.
• Manage month-end close processes, including accruals, provisions, and financial postings accuracy.
• Perform all financial forecasts, review global outlooks, and manage sector risks and opportunities.
• Ensure strict adherence to the BT International Accounting Control Framework and global SOX regulations.
• Collaborate with account teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and revenue control measures.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance.
• Strong expertise in finance and accounting, including HGB and IFRS/IAS standards.
• Proven knowledge of control frameworks, specifically Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
• Very good written and spoken English proficiency.
